Even for the most sensitive of skin
Ma shaa Allah this balm is so good I’ve already repurchased it after using up my first jar. It’s made a big difference for my skin as I was getting itchy and dry skin and nothing has helped as much as this. I also use it as a very hydrating cleanser a few days a week and you can even use it as lip balm too.
Really happy with this cream, all natural and works really well on my daughter’s eczema, I’d highly recommend. Thank you
Only used it twice and already seen improvements. My fingers become very dry and irritated and nothing was helping it. I’ve used organic balms from other brands but they didn’t help and caused red itchy bumps to appear under the skin. It just didn’t do the job. It was also expensive and no discounts were given.
I bought the sensitive balm as my skin does react to certain ingredients which I’m still not sure which one. I was praying this one didn’t do the same and it didn’t!
Will keep on using this balm from now on
Didn't work and had a strong smell which irritated my exzema
Sorry to hear that it didn't work for your skin. The smell is from the lavender and chamomile essential oils that are used in the tiniest amounts as some people find the scent of shea butter unpleasant. Unfortunately, some people may be prone to reactions from essential oils which is why I made the sensitive essential oil free version. I hope you're able to find relief elsewhere.
I suffered from eczema from childhood until adulthood. My experience with the cream was that it stopped the itchiness just for a temporary time & day. It had a very strong smell. I also did a patch test on my arm and left it for two days; the results were fine – no skin reactions. I started to use it for 9 days; a lot went along when applied to my affected area, such as my ankle, wrist, neck, and hand, used twice a day, repeatedly.
My final result: I stopped it as soon as possible, as I did not see any progress with the cream in correctly getting it treated and in lowering the heavy flare-up redness.
It was uncontrollable frustration, and it got much worse. Turned patchy, blotchy, and swollen. I have returned as normal to my GP-referred to a dermatologist to be seen by a specialist. One thing might work for someone while another won't. Thank you
Hi Shaheena, I'm so sorry to hear that it hasn't worked for you but as you rightly have said, what might work for one may not work for another.
The balm isn't a treatment for eczema as eczema is a medical condition that isn't just treated topically. I'm glad you have been to see a specialist. The dry skin relief balm just helps provide relief from the symptoms associated with eczema such as dry skin, itchiness and inflammation.
In terms of the smell, the formula has been updated so now the smell is a lot more pleasant but as with organic ingredients they will have their own distinct smells.
I'm also glad that it gave you no reactions when you did the patch test so it could be that you had atopic dermatitis when your skin experienced the irritation.
I have emailed you in order to better learn about your experience to improve my product.
I hope you do find relief from your eczema.
